There is nothing much to say here. Just wanted to show the excellence of our Muslim Forefathers with a few pages of beautiful work they left behind. These items are not for sale, they really shouldnıt be. However, through neglect, and outright disregard for Islamic knowledge, these priceless manuscripts had been sold for mere pennies to traders from Universities from all over the western world where they are being well taken care of. Itıs frightening to consider that Muslim sheep herders of Qumran(Palestine) had found the controversial Christian Dead Sea Scrolls which had not been seen for over 1800 years or so. Without thinking they sold them to Armenian traders, who sold them to the Catholic Church, who worked with the Israeli Government to find their meaning, and hid them from the public. Had the Muslims cherished this little piece of information it would have unlocked many doors. Allah knows best. Sheikh Muhammad al Yacoubi of Damascus, got a chance to visit one such University Library at Princeton, N.J. He said, ³The non-Muslims took such excellent care of books which we had taken for granted. They even had a Musf from 750 C.E. which had been preserved in a hyperbaric chamber.² The state of Sacred Knowledge in our Muslim society reflects the current state affairs. It was pointed out by the Prophet(salla..) that toward the end of time, ³Religious knowledge would disappear.² Many narrations point out that while Allahıs knowledge wouldnıt disappear, it would disappear from the hearts of our ummah yet be preserved through means beyond our control. Those who honestly preserve this sacred knowledge in themselves will be preserved by Allah both here and more importantly, in the Yaum al Qiyyamah.
