This is one of those posts which should have been done a long time ago not the least because Haji Noor Deen is the most famous Chinese Muslim in America. Mi Guangjiang or Hajji Noor Deen was born in Shangdong in 1963. He is currently a teacher at an Islamic College in Zhengzhou, China and lectures at the Zaytuna Institute in California. Hajji Noor Deen is also a researcher of Islamic culture at the Henan Academy of Sciences. Hajji Noor Deen is an expert in the centuries old tradition of Chinese Islamic Calligraphy also known as the Sinic script. |
